On a beautiful Autumn afternoon, our children enjoyed playing underneath the canopy of our glorious Liquid Amber tree.
They initially started to collect little bundles of "leaf pom-poms" (the name they gave their pretty posies).
Then they recognized the benefit of a wheel-barrow for making a large collection of leaves.
Haylee took time out to negotiate a walk along our "Dinosaur bones" (vertebrae). Well, that's what we call these tyres!
Soon her friends followed suit.
Back to the Autumn leaves. The children began to spontaneously throw the leaves into the air with much joy and laughter.
Brianna then decided to make a pile of leaves at the bottom of a slide to create a comfy landing. This was a big hit with her friends.
We love our Liquid Amber tree and look forward to the fall of the seed pods. I can't wait to create some "Casa Maria" style Sweetgum balls with the children! I know they will love it!
Loving your dinosaur bones!
